About rsvp.so
rsvp.so is a free online invitation site where the invitation and the RSVP are the same page. A host makes an invitation in about a minute without creating an account, shares one link, and sees who's coming in one place. A guest taps the link, feels the occasion, and replies in a few seconds. rsvp.so was launched in October 2026 by WaspThemes and is used in 34 languages.
One link instead of five messages
Inviting people is usually scattered. The invitation is a picture in a group chat, the address is in another message, the registry is in an email, and the replies are buried somewhere in the thread. When a separate form is used for RSVPs, guests bounce between two pages and some never make it to the second one.
rsvp.so puts all of it on one page: the design, the date, the map, the details people ask about, and the form that collects their answer. The host sends one link. The guest opens one link. Nothing gets lost in between.
Why the name
RSVP comes from the French répondez s'il vous plaît, "please reply." It's the line on an invitation that asks guests to let the host know if they're coming. Our product exists for that one moment, so we named it after it.
The .so domain belongs to tools like Tally, and for years Notion, that do one job simply and very well. That's the standard we hold ourselves to. rsvp.so doesn't try to be a wedding planner, a ticketing platform or a design suite. It makes the invitation and collects the reply, and it tries to do both better than anything else.
Made for how people actually invite
There is one editor for every kind of event, and the editor is the invitation itself. Hosts don't pick a template before they start or rebuild their invitation to change its style. A theme, a moving video background, a cover, a font and a song can all be swapped in seconds, which is how the same tool makes a calm wedding invitation and a bright first-birthday invitation equally well.
Invitations travel on phones, so rsvp.so is designed for a phone held in one hand: large buttons, readable text, and a reply that takes seconds. It works the same on a laptop, and hosts can manage everything from either one.
Every guest is a future host
We care about the guest's experience as much as the host's. Each person who opens an invitation sees rsvp.so at its best, and when their own celebration comes around, they know where to go. That's also why rsvp.so is free, without limits and without ads: invitations are how rsvp.so grows, so charging for them would work against us. We plan to offer optional extras later, starting with an event photo album, and the invitation and RSVP will stay free.
How it's built
rsvp.so is built with Next.js and runs on Google Cloud through Firebase. Invitation pages are rendered on the server so they open quickly on mobile networks, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Guest lists are visible only to the host, invitations are kept out of search engines, and we never sell data or show ads.
We improve rsvp.so continuously by watching how people use it and testing changes against each other, one small detail at a time.
