Background music
Add a song from a library made for birthdays, parties and weddings. Guests open your invitation with a tap and the music starts.
Music is the detail guests remember. It's optional, but it changes how an invitation feels: instead of reading a page, guests open something.
Tap Music in the side toolbar. The library has more than 50 songs in three moods, Birthday, Party and Wedding, Happy Birthday comes in bossa nova, samba, funk, soul and old-timey versions, the party list runs from zydeco piano to big hand-clap anthems, and the wedding list goes from drifting piano and a waltz to Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Tap a song to hear it, tap again to pick it. Every song in the library is cleared for use on your invitation, so you don't have to think about rights.
Once a song is set, your invitation opens with an Open Invitation screen showing the event name and date. The music starts the moment the guest taps it, which also respects phones that block sound until someone interacts with the page. Guests can pause the music whenever they like. If you don't add a song, the invitation simply opens straight away.
The song you choose also plays in the video you can create when you share your invitation, so your Instagram story sounds like your invitation looks.
