Date, location and details

Set the date and time zone, find the venue with Google Maps, and add the details guests always ask about: registry, dress code, food, parking and more.

Guests open an invitation with questions. When is it? Where? What do I wear? Can I park there? Answer them on the invitation and you'll get fewer messages later.

Date and time

Tap Set a date to choose the day and start time. You can add an end date and time for a weekend wedding or an afternoon open house, and change the time zone if guests are traveling in from elsewhere. Not settled yet? Choose Set as TBD and share a save-the-date now, then add the date when you know it.

Location

Start typing a venue name or an address and pick the right place from the Google Maps suggestions. You can set a friendlier display name, like Grandma's backyard instead of a street address, and add an apartment, suite or floor. On the invitation, guests get a Get Directions button that opens the route in their maps app.

The extra details

Under the location you'll find quick buttons for the details that come up again and again. Each one adds a small labeled row, and most can hold a link:

  • Registry for a wedding or baby registry, wherever it lives.
  • Dress Code for black tie, all white or wear something comfy.
  • Food to say whether dinner is served or it's drinks and snacks.
  • Parking for where to leave the car or which garage validates.
  • Playlist to link a shared Spotify or Apple Music playlist guests can add to.
  • Link for anything else: a hotel block, a livestream, a ticket page.

There's also a description box for a personal note, and an Info button that adds as many extra sections as you need, such as a schedule, travel tips or a kids' corner. Each section gets its own title, so long invitations stay easy to scan.
