Privacy and your guest list

Your guest list is visible only to you, invitations are kept out of search engines, and guest data is never sold or used for advertising.

An invitation is personal. It holds an address, a date when your home might be empty, and a list of the people you love. Here's how rsvp.so treats that.

  • Only you see the guest list. Guests see the invitation and the guest wall. Names, headcounts and answers to your questions are visible only to you as the host.
  • Invitations stay out of search engines. Anyone you send the link to can open it, but invitation pages tell Google and other search engines not to index them.
  • We ask guests for very little. A guest's name and reply are enough. We don't ask for an email address or phone number unless you add that question yourself.
  • No ads, no data brokers. We don't sell personal information, we don't run advertising networks or retargeting pixels, and we don't use your data to train AI models.
  • Deleting means deleting. When you delete an invitation, its RSVPs go with it. You can also ask us to delete your account at support@rsvp.so.

rsvp.so runs on Google Cloud through Firebase, so your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on the same infrastructure many large apps rely on. Sign-in works with Google or a one-time code sent to your email, which means there's no rsvp.so password that could leak.

We do use analytics to understand how the product is used, so we can keep improving it. The details, including every provider and how long data is kept, are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
