Help CenterRSVPs and guests
Ask guests questions
Collect what you need with the RSVP itself: meal choices, allergies, song requests, phone numbers or emails. Make any question required.
Every reply comes with the guest's name. Anything beyond that is up to you, and it's added to the same form guests already fill in, so there's no second form to send and no spreadsheet to merge later.
Open RSVP Settings and choose Collect info. You can add four kinds of questions:
- Multiple Choice for picking from options: Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian, Which day can you join?, T-shirt size.
- Short Answer for anything open: allergies, a song request, a message for the couple, who's driving whom.
- Phone when you'll want to text guests about a change on the day.
- Email when you'd like a way to send photos or a thank-you note afterward.
Mark a question Required if you can't plan without it. If plus-ones are allowed, you can ask the same questions for each extra guest, so every person at a wedding dinner gets their own meal choice (see plus-ones, capacity and deadline).
Where the answers go
Answers appear next to each guest in your guest list, and each question becomes its own column when you export to CSV. Sorting a seating chart or totaling meal counts takes a minute in Excel or Google Sheets.
People sometimes collect RSVPs with Google Forms for exactly this reason. It asks good questions, but it has no idea what a plus-one is, and its response limit counts submissions rather than people. Here, the questions sit inside a real invitation that already understands guests, headcounts and capacity.
