Share your invitation
Every rsvp.so invitation has its own link. Send it in any chat, print it as a QR code, or post it as an image or a short video with music.
Every invitation you save gets a personal link. That link is the invitation: the design, the details, the map and the RSVP form all live behind it. Guests don't need anything else, and you don't need their email addresses or phone numbers to invite them.
Tap Share on your event (or on its card in My Events) and you'll find a few ways to send it:
- Copy Link puts the link on your clipboard for any app: iMessage, Instagram DMs, a family group chat, an email or a Slack channel.
- Send via WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with the invitation ready to send, which is how a lot of birthday and wedding invitations travel today.
- QR Code gives you a code to print on paper invitations, place cards or a poster at the office. Guests scan it and land on the RSVP page.
- Share as Image creates a poster of your event, sized for stories and feeds, with the cover, title, date and place.
- Share as Video creates a short animated video from your cover, your background and the music you chose. It's made for Instagram Stories, Reels and TikTok, where a moving invitation stands out.
When you paste the link into a chat, apps like WhatsApp and iMessage show a preview card with your cover and event name, so the message looks like an invitation before anyone taps it.
One link, always up to date
Because the link never changes, you can share it early and keep working on the invitation. If the venue moves or the start time shifts, edit it and everyone who opens the link sees the new version. Replies that already came in stay where they are.
Sharing is free and unlimited. Some services charge per recipient once you pass a free allowance (Paperless Post, for example, sells Coins per guest). On rsvp.so you can send one link to five people or five hundred, and it costs the same, which is nothing. More on that in is rsvp.so free?
