Is rsvp.so free?
Creating invitations, sharing them and collecting RSVPs on rsvp.so is free, with no limits on events, guests or replies, and no ads on your invitation.
Yes. Everything that has to do with inviting people and collecting their replies is free on rsvp.so, and it will stay that way. There's no trial, no premium tier for RSVP features and no limit hiding in the fine print.
- Unlimited events, guests and RSVPs.
- Every theme, video background, cover, font and song.
- Plus-ones, capacity, RSVP deadlines and custom questions.
- Your full guest list and CSV export.
- Link, WhatsApp, QR code, image and video sharing.
- No ads on your invitation, ever.
This is not how the category usually works. Evite's free invitations show ads, and an ad-free invitation is part of what its Premium tier sells. RSVPify's free plan stops at 100 RSVPs per event, Greenvelope's free option is a trial for up to 10 people, and Punchbowl asks for a paid membership before you can create a new event. Those are reasonable businesses. We simply chose a different model.
Why we can keep it free
An invitation is seen by many more people than the one who made it. Every guest who opens an rsvp.so link experiences the product at its best, and when their own birthday, wedding or shower comes around, they already know where to go. Our growth comes from invitations being good, not from charging the people who send them. Putting RSVPs behind a paywall would slow down the very thing that keeps rsvp.so going.
We also run lean. The product is focused on one job, so there's no ad network to feed and no sprawling feature set to maintain.
How rsvp.so will make money
In the open: through optional extras that sit next to the invitation, never through the invitation itself. The first one we're planning is an event photo album, where guests can upload the photos they took at your event to the same link. The first 50 photos will be free and paid plans will cover larger albums. When the album launches, nothing that's free today will become paid. If that ever changes, we'll say so here first.
