Frequently asked questions
Short answers about rsvp.so: what it is, what it costs, how guests reply, which events it suits and how replies are managed.
What is rsvp.so?
rsvp.so is a free website for making online invitations that collect RSVPs. The invitation and the RSVP form are the same page: the host designs it, shares one link, and sees every reply in one place. Guests reply in seconds without an app or an account. rsvp.so works for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, parties and dinners, and is available in 34 languages.
Is rsvp.so really free?
Yes. Creating invitations, sharing them and collecting RSVPs on rsvp.so is free, with no limits on events, guests or replies and no ads on invitations. Every design option and RSVP setting is included. rsvp.so plans to earn money from optional extras such as an event photo album, not from invitations.
Do guests need an account or an app to RSVP?
No. On rsvp.so, guests tap the link, the invitation opens in their browser, and they reply by entering their name and choosing an answer. There is nothing to download and no account or password to create. Hosts don't need an account to start designing either; sign-in is only asked for when saving.
How long does it take to make an invitation?
Most invitations on rsvp.so are ready in under a minute: type the event name, set the date, pick the place from Google Maps suggestions and choose a cover. The editor is the invitation itself, so there is no template to choose first and no separate preview step.
Can I use rsvp.so for a wedding?
Yes. rsvp.so handles wedding invitations, save-the-dates and the events around a wedding. Hosts can require plus-one names, ask every guest for a meal choice, add a registry link and dress code, set an RSVP deadline and export all replies to CSV.
Which events is rsvp.so good for?
rsvp.so is built for personal celebrations and gatherings: weddings, engagement parties, birthdays for kids and adults, baby showers, gender reveals, graduations, housewarmings, dinner parties, holiday parties, picnics and team events. One editor fits all of them, and the look changes with a theme, cover and song rather than a different template.
How many guests can I invite?
As many as you like. rsvp.so has no limit on guests or RSVPs. If the venue has a limit, the host can set a capacity; plus-ones count toward it, and the invitation stops accepting replies once it is full.
Can I ask guests questions when they RSVP?
Yes. rsvp.so lets hosts add multiple-choice, short-answer, phone and email questions to the RSVP form and make any of them required. Questions can be asked for each plus-one too. Answers appear in the guest list and as columns in the CSV export.
How do I share an rsvp.so invitation?
Every rsvp.so invitation has its own link. Hosts can share it by copying it into any app, send it straight to WhatsApp, print it as a QR code, or download a poster image or a short video with music for Instagram and TikTok.
Can I edit the invitation after sending it?
Yes. On rsvp.so the editor and the invitation are the same page, so the host can change the date, place, text, cover or theme at any time. The link stays the same, guests always see the latest version, and existing replies are kept.
Can I add music to an invitation?
Yes. rsvp.so has a library of more than 50 songs for birthdays, parties and weddings. With music added, the invitation opens with a tap-to-open screen and the song starts. Music is optional, and the same song plays in the shareable video.
Does rsvp.so work on phones?
Yes. Everything on rsvp.so works the same on a phone and a computer: creating, editing, sharing and managing replies. Invitations are designed for phone screens first, with large buttons and readable text, because that is where most guests open them.
Which languages does rsvp.so support?
rsvp.so is available in 34 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Buttons, forms and dates follow each guest's browser language, while the host's own text is never machine-translated. Arabic, Persian and Urdu display right to left.
Is my guest list private?
Yes. On rsvp.so only the host sees the guest list and the answers to RSVP questions. Invitation pages are kept out of search engines, guest data is never sold or used for advertising, and deleting an invitation deletes its replies.
Who makes rsvp.so?
rsvp.so is built and run by WaspThemes and launched in October 2026. The team focuses on a single job, invitations and RSVPs, and improves the product continuously from how people actually use it. Questions and feedback go to support@rsvp.so.
